Description Practical, general workplace training supported by an individualized learning plan developed by the employer, college, and student.

Learning Outcomes
Course Level: Introductory
 
Course Description: Training in clinical supervision to meet continuing education and/or review/update requirements associated with professional licensure or certification. This course was designed to be repeated multiple times to improve student proficiency.
 
End-of-Course Outcomes: Demonstrate the use of major theories and functions of clinical supervision; discuss legal and ethical issues in clinical supervision; discuss administrative and managerial tasks involved in clinical supervision; describe effective supervisory relationships; and identify current assessment and evaluation techniques for supervisee performance.

Attendance Policy Research has shown a cause and effect relationship between attendance and college success. Students with more than three absences from the course will receive an academic penalty (which is spelled out by the instructor).

COVID 19 Information The Lamar State College Port Arthur (LSCPA) Student Code of Conduct COVID 19 Policy requires students who have been diagnosed with COVID 19 to report their condition directly to their local health department. Students should also contact their course faculty to report their quarantine status. In addition, this policy requires all students to wear face coverings when directly exposed to COVID 19 in compliance with the criteria included in the policy. Facility Policies No food or tobacco products are allowed in the classroom. Only students enrolled in the course are allowed in the classroom, except by special instructor permission. Use of electronic devices is prohibited.
